Barcelona sold Yerry Mina to Everton in a €30.25m deal with a buy back clause

The Colombia international, Yerry Mina impressed at the World Cup. He had been heavily linked with a move away from the Nou Camp throughout the transfer window. He decided to leave Barcelona and join Everton, after being told he would not have minutes in Barcelona this season after the arrival of Clement Lenglet.

The deal has been sealed for 30 million euros plus 2 million in variables. Yerry Mina wanted to play at a big club. He eventually chose the Toffees despite offers on the table from Manchester United and Everton. His fine World Cup performances raised his profile and reputation after a shaky half season at Barcelona.
