After the intense IPL 2018 auction, we are finally up with the final team squad. With some surprising hike in the player purchase, this time’s IPL auction was a joy to watch.
Across Saturday and Sunday, the eight franchises assembled under one roof to rebuild their squad for the upcoming season of the cash-rich IPL. After hectic bidding, frantic phone calls, the eight teams have finally made their squad for the biggest cricket league in the world.
In the final analysis, RCB, SRH, CSK, MI, and DD managed to build formidable units. RR and KXIP showed a lot of intent but missed out some key tricks. KKR was the clear underperformer in the auction and while cricket is a funny game, it would be extremely difficult for SRK’s unit to be competitive.
