Liverpool’s Strategy Change:

Let’s talk about Liverpool now. Everyone knows that they need a Philippe Coutinho replacement and everyone also knows that Ivan Rakitic wouldn’t want to rot on the bench. But now that Coutinho is at Barca, there is a good chance that the Croat will move away from the Camp Nou—and Liverpool and Arsenal are interested, say Diario Gol.

Arsene Wenger has targeted £45million-rated Brazilian star Malcom to replace Alexis Sanchez. Manchester City has held discussions with Arsenal over signing Sanchez this month but have been told the Gunners want a replacement before they will sanction any move. Boss Wenger has Bordeaux forward Malcom on his radar and Arsenal have held talks with the French club about signing the 20-year-old this month, amid rival interest from Tottenham and Manchester United. (Daily Mirror).

Having lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, Liverpool will move to ensure their other prized assets are not similarly tempted to go should record-breaking bids materialize. (Daily Telegraph)

Meanwhile, Liverpool has approached Roma for Kevin Strootman, according to Premium Sport.

West Ham’s Interests:

According to Marca, Atletico Madrid want to sell Argentine talent Nicolas Gaitan and there is no shortage of interest in the man as West Ham, Everton and Southampton are seeking his signature. Atleti values him at £18 million and will let him go for that amount.

Meanwhile, Daily Express believe that Jonjo Shelvey is close to West Ham as talks have progressed between the Hammers and the Magpies. They have also been linked with a host of other players that include Arsenal duo Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin.

West Ham has been told that they will have to stump up £15million for Bournemouth’s Harry Arter. Irons boss David Moyes is keeping to add more mobility to his midfield this month while Arter is ready to quit the south coast of London. (Daily Mirror)

Spurs is Pretty Settled:

Tottenham have made moves to tie down Dele Alli with a new contract. England star Alli has become one of Europe’s hottest properties, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain among his admirers. But Spurs are confident the 21-year-old midfielder will sign up to a new deal. (Daily Mirror)

Meanwhile, according to Standard, Spurs flop Kevin-Georges N’Koudou is going to be loaned out to Burnley as the Clarets look to further strengthen their bid for a top 8 finish. N’Koudou wasn’t able to hit the ground running since his £10 million moves to North London and this loan move is an attempt to get his career back on track.

Spurs are not going to have a busy window. They seem pretty content with their squad and will, at most, sign only one player.

Chelsea To Bid Big After Diego’s Loss:

Speaking of Chelsea, the Telegraph claims that they have balked at the £60 million price tag of Juventus left-back and long-term target, Alex Sandro, which leaves a way for PSG and Manchester United to sign him.

Also, Don Balon is back and they claim that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to move to Chelsea. Meanwhile, Tribal Football claims that Leonardo Bonucci is desperate to reunite with former boss Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

Also, Eden Hazard has agreed to move to Real Madrid this summer.

Manchester United’s Move:

We will start with Manchester United, obviously. Manchester United have made contact with Alexis Sánchez about a possible move to Old Trafford.

The Mirror says that there is going to be a three-way scramble over Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey between Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. He is going to be available for £40 million in the summer.

Manchester United will have to pay up to £27m to sign Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker in January, according to the club’s general manager Herman Van Holsbeeck. United made an inquiry about the 22-year-old after he made a big impression against Jose Mourinho’s side in the Europa League quarter-final back in April. (Manchester Evening News)

Crystal Palace believes they will wrap up the signing of Diafra Sakho by the end of the week. Sakho, 28, is understood to be eager to end his unhappy spell at West Ham by moving to Selhurst Park. The Eagles are also keen to reignite their interest in another Senegal frontman, Khouma Babacar of Fiorentina. (Daily Mirror)
