Indian smartphone maker Micromax has launched what it claims is the cheapest 4G smartphone, Bharat 2 Ultra. Launched in association with Vodafone India, the smartphone comes at an effective price of Rs 999 only. The all-new Bharat 2 Ultra joins the ranks of Jio Phone rivals like Airtel Karbonn A40 Indian and the company’s own Micromax Bharat 1 4G launched earlier this month in association with BSNL. Here’s how the all-new Bharat 2 Ultra compares to Airtel Karbonn A40 Indian phone JioPhone and Bharat 1 on specs, pricing and tariff front.

PRICE COMPARISON: –

  1. Micromax Bahart 2 Ultra :- Rs 2,899 down payment, after 18 months (1.5 years) users will get Rs 900 cash back and Rs 1,000 after another 1.5 years.
  2. Karbonn A40 India : Rs 2,899 and offers a refund of Rs 500 after 18 months and rest Rs 1,000 after three years.
  3. JioPhone : Rs 1,500 with guaranteed refund after three years.
  4. Micromax Bahart 1 : Rs 2,200.

TARIFF COMPARISON :-

  1. Micromax Bahart 2 Ultra: Users need to do the monthly recharge of Rs 150 for the period of 3 years.
  2. Karbonn A40 India: Users need to do a monthly recharge of minimum Rs 169 for 36 consecutive months.
  3. JioPhone: Users will need to make a minimum recharge of Rs 1,500 annually.
  4. Micromax Bharat 1: Users will need to recharge their phones with Rs 97 every month for unlimited call and internet services.
