Tottenham have completed the signing of Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split in Croatia. The central defender became the youngest player to feature in the Croatian top flight, and stands at 6 ‘4 only at 16 years old.
He is rated as a phenomenal young prospect and is also the youngest goalscorer in the history of Hajduk. Spurs will be able to feature the young defender from 2025, after formalities were completed between the two sides.
Luka Vuskovic to join Tottenham Hotspur in 2025
Manchester City made a €12 million offer to sign the centre-back earlier this summer. But, the Croatian side did not sanction the transfer. Spurs have now swooped in and completed a deal with the Croatian side.
There are rumours that Ivan Perisic helped convince the youngster to join the Lilywhites. The winger has also been linked with a move in the other direction during the January transfer window, but nothing has been agreed yet. And with the veteran now struck by an ACL injury, he could be staying at Spurs for the entirety of the season.
Luka Vuskovic is expected to join the first team directly in the coming years since he is hailed as one of the top young talents for the future.
