To stand out in the Premier League, you would have to be extraordinary and an extraordinary football team would need an excellent manager to guide them. The Premier League managers are some of the highest paid managers in the world.

10. Eddie Howe | £3.5 million

Newcastle are a club reborn under Eddie Howe after their takeover. They reached the Carabao Cup final this season, sadly losing to Manchester United. Eddie Howe’s team are currently in fifth position, fighting for a top 4 spot with Tottenham as they are just 4 points behind with 2 games in hand. Howe deserves to be on this list after taking Newcastle to new heights this season.

Former Arsenal great Patrick Vieira was appointed as manager of Premier League club Crystal Palace on a three-year contract following the departure of their previous manager, Roy Hodgson on 4 July 2021. He has done well at the Premier League club till now and would want to make them push for a European spot in the near future.

8. David Moyes | £5 million

On 29 December 2019, Moyes returned to his previous position as the manager of West Ham United. He replaced Manuel Pellegrini, who had left them in 17th in the Premier League table, one point above the relegation zone. He saved the club from getting relegated. Moyes guided West Ham United to a record Premier League points total of 65 points as they finished in sixth place in the 2020–21 season and qualified for the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League. His team won 19 Premier League games, including nine away, both being records for the club. However, he has failed to guide his team this season as they are languishing just 2 points above the relegation-threatened teams.

7. Mikel Arteta | £8.3 million

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is a homegrown manager of the club. Arteta played for Arsenal and used to work under Pep Guardiola as his assistant manager. After learning from the best, Arteta has revived the Arsenal team and are currently on top of the Premier League table and looks like a serious title contender.

6. Erik Ten Hag | £9 million

Manchester United has been a mere shadow of themselves and in order to reclaim their glorious days, they appointed Dutch manager Erik Ten Hag. He started the season with two consecutive defeats but has turned his fortunes around with an impressive run of form. He won the Carabao Cup, the first trophy for the Red Devils in 6 years. He belongs to the elite list of managers and is one of the highest paid managers in the Premier League as of 2023.

5. Brendan Rodgers | £10 million

The Leicester City manager earns £10 million which puts him in the top 5 list of highest paid managers in the Premier League as of 2023. Leicester won the Premier League in 2015 but are sadly far from winning it again recently and hasn’t made a good start to their 2022-23 Premier League season.

4. Graham Potter | £12 million

Chelsea have sacked their Champions League winning manager Thomas Tuchel and have appointed former Brighton manager Graham Potter. He has signed a massive £60 million deal for 5 years which makes him the 4th highest paid managers in the Premier League as of 2023. However, his team’s performances are far being good as they have just won 2 matches since the World Cup 2022.

3. Antonio Conte | £15 million

Tottenham Hotspur hasn’t won a trophy for a long period and they feel their best time is passing with the likes of Kane and Son forming a lethal partnership but without any trophy. They have appointed Conte to do the exact job of bringing a title at Tottenham and so far he has been doing a good job

2. Jurgen Klopp | £16 million

The German tactician is one of the best managers in the world right now. He made Liverpool a team that terrorized its opponents. He has won the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League with Liverpool and would definitely like to add more to his trophy cabinet. However, Liverpool has been abysmal this season and languishing at the middle of the table.

1. Pep Guardiola | £19 million

The Spaniard is considered the epitome of football managers in recent times. Guardiola is at the top of the list of highest paid managers in the Premier League as of 2023. He has made Manchester City the most successful club in England in the last decade. However, he is yet to win the UEFA Champions League with City and is desperately eyeing the European crown this time.
